Aasai 60 Naal

Aasai 60 Naal is a socially reflective drama that examines how human weakness, societal hypocrisy, and uncontrolled desire shape lives. It explores the complex psyche of four different lives entangled by desire and moral hypocrisy. The film contrasts two women: a prostitute named Bhuvana (played by Srividya) who, despite her shame and tears, is pushed into her trade by circumstances and longs for dignity, and a so-called "respectable" woman named Meena (played by Y.Vijaya) who abandons modesty under the guise of modernity, unashamed of her reckless choices.

Alongside them, careless parents indulge their desires without regard for the influence it has on their children, and one such misguided youth finds her unchecked impulses pushing her toward ruin, and a young man Muthu (played Vijayakumar) whose misguided actions lead him down a path of self-destruction. These parallel stories collide and unravel, leaving the audience to ponder who is truly at fault—the woman forced by society, the woman freed by recklessness, the parents who falter, or the youth who refuses to grow.
